What ViMaCore is

ViMaCore is a DLL (ViMaCore.DLL for MSFS 2002 / ViMaCore2004.DLL for MSFS 2004) which is loaded by Microsoft Flight Simulator and provides custom DLL's with an interface to some of Microsoft Flight Simulator services as well as additional services (aka known as API functions) of its own.

ViMaCore is used by most VistaMare Software add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator and it is required to run them.

Compatibility

ViMaCore is compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and 2004.

Each new version of ViMaCore is backward compatible with all the VistaMare Software add-on published so far. Users are encouraged to update their ViMaCore as soon as a new version is available.
